A VISIT TO LEARN ABOUT CELL STRUCTURE

A visit, to learn about Cell structure. (Dr.Ashneet Walia).

  • Today me and my friends went to Dr. Ashneet Walia in Pathankot.We went to conduct a survey and learn about cell structure. We had good time spending with Dr. Ashneet Walia. We learned about cell membrane, nucleus, mitochondria, chloroplast and ribosome. We saw these all things in Microscope. We saw bacteria and human blood cell. We saw RBC (red blood cells) and WBC (white blood cell).
  • Robert Hooke discovered human cells and other type of cells in 1665.

It made my and my class intrest to learn about cells. We are very thankful to Ashneet Walia mam. Who been our teacher for a day.
         So, our science teacher gave us a project- to make a report on Cells. So, I choose to represnt my report by Making a book on ' CELLS'.

We made a painting on 4 types of spheres Hydrosphere - is the liquid water component on the earth. The hydrosphere covers about 70% of the earth's surface, and is the home for many plants and animals, like atmosphere it is always in motion. Biosphere - it is the sum of all ecosystem, including human-beings, animals, trees etc. Lithosphere - it is also known as solid earth it consists of rocks, land etc. It is the rigid outer part of the earth. Atmosphere - the atmosphere of the earth is the layer of gases surrounding the planet earth, that is retained by earth's gravity. Atmosphere is made up of nitorgen (78%) and oxygen (21%).  To make the topic interesting and we understand it deeply we made a painting on camvas, showing all the types of spheres.

THE CELEBRATION OF CHILDREN DAY AND NIGHT INN CAMP. On Tuesday,14thof November there was Children Day. So, our school organized a "CELEBRATION OF CHILDREN'S DAY AND NIGT INN CAMP". The school timing was normal 8 to 3pm. It was just for grade 3-7 for night inn camp. After 3'o clock classes went out to the ground and played many type of games. Like-- ^Blindfold^  ^Tug-of-war^ ^Leg cricket^ ^Handball^. Then we went for snacks. After snacks we did many activities like making bookmark, pin ball and target golf. After that we went for our changes of clothes for Born fire.  We have tree categories in born fire  1. Stand up comedy 2. Dance 3. Singing. We had a lot of fun during born fire. We danced together. Then we went for dinner. Everyone liked dinner, it was very tasty and yummy. After that everyone played dumb shreyas. Doubt session

Today, it was our 'Doubt Session'. From tomorrow we are going to start up with our Final-assessments, so today we are clearing our doubts if we have. I also had a lot of doubts. We were asking our doubts to the teacher. Then, we did some oral revision, teacher asked us a lot of questions and we were able to answer that questions. It is my last day in grade 6th.
