Today, it was our 'Doubt Session'. From tomorrow we are going to start up with our Final-assessments, so today we are clearing our doubts if we have. I also had a lot of doubts. We were asking our doubts to the teacher. Then, we did some oral revision, teacher asked us a lot of questions and we were able to answer that questions. It is my last day in grade 6th. We made a painting on 4 types of spheres Hydrosphere - is the liquid water component on the earth. The hydrosphere covers about 70% of the earth's surface, and is the home for many plants and animals, like atmosphere it is always in motion. Biosphere - it is the sum of all ecosystem, including human-beings, animals, trees etc. Lithosphere - it is also known as solid earth it consists of rocks, land etc. It is the rigid outer part of the earth. Atmosphere - the atmosphere of the earth is the layer of gases surrounding the planet earth, that is retained by earth's gravity. Atmosphere is made up of nitorgen (78%) and oxygen (21%).  To make the topic interesting and we understand it deeply we made a painting on camvas, showing all the types of spheres.

We made our own oven in school, in science and we named the activity capturing the sun's energy we used some materials to make that oven- Pizza box, black paper, foil paper,  plastic sheet. These all requirements are very important to make this oven. WHY ???, So let's take an look - 

Cape Town water crisis: Residents urged to turn off toliet taps. The problem is for the citizens, who are living in Cape town. They are not able to get enough water only 50 liters per person per day. For this we should come up with ideas. Waste water from showers and wash basins is being discharged directly to the sewers. This is wasteful, what all happening with the Cape town.            What should we do- Waste water from showers and wash basins should be collected in reservoir and then the greywater in reservoir, should be using for flushing. This is what, should happen with Cape town. METHODS Join a pipe to the drain of shower and wash basin to reservoir.  When you will use water, water will be filled in the reservior pipe out and put the greywater in the toilet flushing tank. ENERGY CAN' T BE CREATED OR DESTROYED IT CAN ONLY BE CHANGED It is true that energy can't be created or destroyed, it can only be changed, because no one and no machine can create energy and can destroy energy or finish it, they can only be changed in different forms like: Kinetic energy to heat energy (rubbing hands) , tidal energy to electric energy (speed of water coming and then by use of generator the energy is changed into electric), sunlight to electric energy (solar panels) etc. If, you think that rubbing scale at your head and they are getting attached with the scale that is forming energy, BUT not- the rubbing scale is kinetic energy and then kinetic energy is transformed or chanhed into electric energy.

  REFLECTION ON SOI SCIENCE SOI-   Through controlling energy we can make changes happen that have an impact on the way  REFLECTION- Like, through controlling energy we can make some changes so, we found energy in vegetables and fruits. We also found some tempreatures of things like- glacier, molten lava, meal etc. By this we can say that what is the correct tempreature for things, what impact on human being life there is.

Science- In science we are studying about energy. So,we did an activity WHAT'S HOT AND WHAT'S NOT. In which we studied about the tempreature of different of objects like molten lava, metal spark, coffee, meal, liquid nitrogen and glacier. While studying about that we got many information. And in this we demonstrated critical thinking skills. We did a activity HIGH AND LOW TEMPREATURES. In which we studied about the low a nd high point tempreatures of FAHRENHIET, CELSIUS and ABSOLUTE. Then we did an activity at home that at what tempreature you can intain hot drinks, so I took milk and then drink it thaty at this tempreature can I intain so I put thermometer in the glass and saw that at 109 degree Fahrenhiet. Then we did an activity WARMING UP in that we checked the tempreature of each child.
